What To Expect
Purchase your ticket for your required all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and departure time. Then, after pickup at your Liberia, Sharjah, or Ajman address or other select location (additional fees might apply), ride a chauffeured vehicle into the Lahbab desert, known for its red-orange dunes. Prebooking lets you secure your preferred date and relax knowing everything is prearranged.
On arrival, don a supplied helmet and after safety instructions, enjoy a roughly 1-hour ATV ride. Roar over the dunes behind your instructor and stop for sandboarding and photos.
Next, visit the Al Khayma desert camp, where Arabic coffee, camel riding, henna art (women only), shishas, and Arabic-dress and falconry photo-ops await, alongside complimentary sodas and water. Join in the activities as you wish before enjoying a delicious barbecue-buffet and live shows, including whirling-dervish and folklore dances, performed under the darkening desert sky. Your experience ends with a return transfer to the start point.
After pickup from your hotel, head off with your local guide to the desert. Upon reaching the Lahbab Desert, be welcomed into an air-conditioned tent with refreshments (Arabic tea/coffee with dates & Chilled Juice options) and time to relax and use the restroom facilities. Ready to join the quad bike safety briefing. Get prepared with the helmet and start the bike ride. Stop for the sandboarding and photo break, and later continue your ride to reach to the starting point.
After that, head to the Al Khayma desert camp where you'll be welcomed with Arabian coffee and sweets and experience various activities such as henna tattooing, shisha pipe smoking, dressing up in Arabian attire, and meeting up with a Falcon expert and posing with that majestic bird. Go for a short ride on a camel around the camp premises. Enjoy an Arabian barbecue buffet dinner accompanied by live traditional Tanoura, Fire show and "Ladies Khaliji Dance". Relax or refresh yourselves by meditating and heading back to the city.
